Helfer auf vier Pfoten

The right way to deal with dogs has to be learned: What is the best way to approach a dog? How do you touch it? Where does it want to be stroked and how does it play? To ensure that children who grow up without a dog of their own are not afraid of dogs and have the opportunity to learn how to handle them correctly, the human-dog teams of the "Helfer auf vier Pfoten" visit kindergartens, schools and events. They practice with the children the respectful coexistence of two- and four-legged friends. The children learn about the nature and abilities of dogs, they learn to follow certain handling rules and to understand the reactions of dogs.
